Registration Fee

There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee per student due at the time of registration.  If a family is enrolling more than one family member, the registration fee for the second student will only be $15.  Each additional family member after that will only be $10.

Costume Fees

A $50 costume deposit per class is due at the time of registration, with the exception of a few non-recital classes.  Remaining costume balances are due the third week of November.  Costumes will not be sent home until the costume balance is paid in full.

If a student decides to drop a class before costumes are ordered, they will receive a full refund on their costume deposit. If costumes have already been ordered, the costume deposit will not be able to be refunded and the parent will be responsible for paying the rest of the costume balance.  To ensure timely delivery, costume orders are placed in early December. 

Adults: Since not all adults choose to participate, we do not charge costume deposits for our adult classes.  However, if you know that you are going to participate in recital and would like to pay deposits for your costume, you can pay the $50 per class to reduce the amount that is owed when costume balances are due.

Tuition

Tuition can be paid in full or can be divided into 8 equal monthly installments (September - April).  Tuition installments are due the 1st of each month. If you need an extra installment to reduce your monthly payment, please let us know (your last installment would then be due May 1st).

​Discounts:  Students taking multiple classes will receive a discount on their monthly tuition.  Discounts on the number of classes is on a per student basis.

TUITION POLICIES

Monthly Tuition
Monthly tuition rates are NOT based on the number of classes taken per month. Instead, total tuition for the class is divided into 8 equal monthly installments (September - April) and is due on the 1st of each month.  Students will not receive a refund for classes they miss.

Tuition is based on a 29-week dance season, even though we are scheduled for 31 weeks of classes this year.  The extra 2 classes are bonus classes at no extra charge and are set up to cover possible snow days, instructor sick time, and other emergencies.

Dropping Classes
You must notify the studio immediately if you decide to drop a class.  Missed classes will not be refunded if the studio is not aware that the student dropped the class.  Students who drop a class will not be charged future tuition.  After March 1st:  A dropped class fee of $25 will be added for dropping out of recital dances/classes. This fee covers the cost of the extra time the teacher will spend to rework dance formations for the upcoming recital.

Payments
Payments can be made online through the parent portal, or in person at the front desk with cash, credit cards, and checks made out to Inspired Creations Dance Studio.  A $25 returned check fee will be charged for any checks that bounce.  Please Note:  There is a 3.5% credit card processing fee.  If paying online, you can avoid the fee by paying with your bank account.

Automatic Payments
Never miss a payment and sign-up for automatic payments!  You can sign-up on your parent portal.  Avoid the credit card processing fee by paying with your bank account.  Automatic payments will come out on the 1st of each month.  If the 1st is on a weekend or holiday, it will come out on the first business day of the month.

Late Fees
Payments that are more than 2 weeks overdue are subject to a 10% late fee.  If payments are overdue by a month or more, the student will not be able to participate in classes or performances until the payment has been received.  External debt collection may occur when fees remain overdue, and this will be at the expense of the client.  If you are having trouble making your payments, please contact the owner at (517) 428-0120.
