I have been working hard to make the registration process easier, and I am happy to announce that we are now accepting payments online!  Therefore, you will be able to complete the registration process and be "officially" registered for class by paying your registration fee and costume deposits online, and by electronically signing the waivers.  If you do not wish to pay online, you are welcome to pay in person at the studio by cash, check, or credit card during one of our Open House/Registration dates.  Since you are currently pre-registered, your information has already been put into the system for you.  You can view your account by going to  https://app.thestudiodirector.com/inspiredcreationsdance/portal.sd.  To login to your account, click on forgot password, enter your email address, and you will be able to set up your own password for your account.  You can log in to your account anytime right from the homepage of our website.                                                 When you login to your account, double check to make sure I put your information in correctly.  You will be able to update your information at any time.  Your account balance will be displayed and will say that it is due in 30 days.  There is no late fees for registration & costume deposits, but you will not be able to attend class until those amounts are paid.  So just be sure you pay the amount before the first week of classes! All of your monthly tuition payments can be made online, and you will be able to enroll in autopay if you wish to ensure that you never miss a tuition payment.  If you prefer to pay your tuition payments in person, we will accept cash, check and credit card payments at the desk.   Welcome Email & August Newsletter You should have all received a welcome email from us shortly after you pre-registered.  If you did not receive the email, you can view the email through the following link:   http://inspiredcreationsdance-20482205.hs-sites.com/welcome-to-inspired-creations-dance-studio-1?hs_preview=bntWZHHY-53073139557.                                         If you did not receive the August Newsletter, you can view it on our website at at https://www.inspiredcreationsdance.com/august-2021.html.  It contains a link to a wonderful article explaining the benefits of dance for children!   Dress Code As we are getting closer to the start of the dance season, you may be wondering what your child will need for dance class.  You can find our dress code on our website at https://www.inspiredcreationsdance.com/dress-code.html.  To make it easier to find what you need, you can shop our studio's Online Dance Boutique, find your child's class, and see the required shoes and suggested dancewear.  You can purchase those items directly from the website.  If you can't find what you need on our Online Dance Boutique, you can visit our studio's Discount Dance page and find additional suggestions for your class.                                    Not sure of the size?  Come to one of our Open House days, and there will be samples of shoes for your child to try on to help you with sizing decisions.  If you do not have the proper shoes for the first week of class, that is completely fine! If you place an order through our Online Dance Boutique, your order will be sent to the studio, and you will be able to pick up your order at one of our Open House days.  If you wait until after our Open House dates to order, your order will be given to you as soon as it comes in.    Open House Dates Even if you complete your registration by signing your waivers and paying online, we would love to have you stop by one of our Open House dates!  At our Open House, you will be able to familiarize yourself with our new space, try-on dance shoes, and pick-up your t-shirts and welcome gifts.  More information about our Open House will be sent out next month. Grand River Ave., Howell, MI 48843.         COVID-19 Update from Kayla August 19, 2021 Dear Dance Families, I wanted to send you an update regarding COVID-19 and our plans for the fall. At this point, nothing is set in stone regarding mask requirements for the upcoming dance season.  We will be monitoring the situation and following the guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and the Livingston County Health Department (LCHD). The current level of community transmission in Livingston County is high, and the current recommendation for students is the use of masks indoors by all individuals regardless of vaccination status to reduce transmission risk, especially due to the circulating and highly contagious Delta variant.  Since a majority of our dance students are young and are not eligible for a vaccine, our number one priority is to keep them, as well as all of our dance families, safe.  I realize that every dance studio and school district will approach this issue differently, and there are many varying opinions about this issue.  My hope for this dance season was that we would not have to wear masks.  However, no matter how I personally feel about masks, we will be following the recommendations of the CDC, MDHHS, and LCHD, and this will not be up for debate at our studio, nor will we make our decision based on what others are choosing to do.  Based on current recommendations, we will be erring on the side of caution at Inspired Creations Dance Studio to protect those who are more vulnerable to the virus, myself included. For those of you who are unfamiliar with my story, I am a fairly recent cancer survivor.  I have an unvaccinated 3 year old (who I was pregnant with when I received my cancer diagnosis), and I will have a newborn baby this fall.  I will also have to go back on my post-cancer treatment which will affect how my immune system functions, despite my vaccination status.  I truly appreciate your cooperation with our COVID-19 policies to keep me and my family safe during these unprecedented times. I am so excited to get back to dance this fall and am looking forward to sharing the joy that dance brings with all of you.  I completely understand if you choose not to join us this year due to the mask requirement at our studio.  I wish that we did not need to wear them, but again, safety of all of our students and families is my number one priority.  We are going to do everything we can to reduce the risk of transmission at our studio.  More detailed information about our mask requirements and COVID-19 policies and procedures will be sent out closer to the start of our season, and we will continue to update our policies and mask requirements throughout the year based on the recommendations of the CDC, MDHHS, and LCHD. Keep in mind that these decisions regarding COVID-19 are not easy decisions to make, and a lot of thought has gone into our decisions regarding our COVID-19 policies.  The decisions we make regarding COVID-19 are not up for debate and are solely based on the recommendations of the CDC, MDHHS, and LCHD, not personal feelings.  If you choose not to dance with us this year due to our COVID-19 policies, we completely understand and respect your decision, and we hope that we can share our love for dance with you in the future. I’m so excited to announce that we’re incorporating a brand new program into our PreDance and 5-6 year old dance classes here at Inspired Creations Dance Studio!!
