Specific costume information and details for your class can be found in the parent portal under “costumes.”  

​Please note:  At recital, our main dressing room is a large open room that dancers will be changing in.  If your dancer is uncomfortable changing in an open room (especially as they get older), you may want to purchase a nude leotard that they can wear under their costume so that they are still covered when they are changing.

Costume Care:
To keep costumes in good condition...

• Costumes are not to be worn before the dress rehearsal and recital days.
  
• Do not play or eat in your costume.
  
• ​Do not wash costumes.
  
• Costumes should be put on a hanger and in a garment bag as soon as you take the costume home to protect the costume.  (If you do not own a garment bag, you can purchase one from the studio).
  
• To help get wrinkles out of the costume, you can try hanging your costume in the bathroom while taking a shower (but avoid getting the costume wet, as this may stain the costume!)  Be very careful if you need to use a steamer or iron, and do NOT iron directly on the fabric (use a cloth in between costume and iron).  We will not be able to order a replacement in time if your costume gets ruined.
